Kira Black didn’t start reading until she was in her early 20s, after the birth of her first child. Kira enjoys reading sci-fi fantasy. Kira did a writing course not long after the birth of her second child, where she wrote short stories and quick reads. While she stopped writing as being a mother demanded more and more time, Kira picked it back up recently, as her children are grown.
Writing has always been an escape for Kira, an alternate universe where she can create her own destiny and outcomes. The first thing Kira wrote as a teen was poems. She always found that writing is an amazing way to deal with everyday life and to this day writes to escape the stresses of everyday life. Dark Desires is the first novel Kira has had published!
