Nevenka Alempijevic is passionate about mental health and well-being having worked in the sector for over a decade. Her engagement in this sector is underpinned by a Post-graduate Diploma in Psychology and a master’s degree in Suicidology.
Nevenka aims to distil complex concepts into easily palatable ideas so that they can be more accessible to the public. Her vision revolves around facilitating meaningful discussions and skill development within families through literary interaction, helping them to navigate life's inevitable hurdles.
The ‘Turtle Who Befriended Fear’ follows her debut work titled ‘The Hippo Who Found True Beauty,’ which marked her introduction to the world of children's literature.

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR - ELLA ROUSSEAU
Ella is a Sydney-based artist with a passion for illustration and 2D animation.
She graduated with an Honours degree in Design in Animation at UTS in 2021 and enjoys creating colourful, whimsical characters and worlds, especially for children’s books!
Ella is passionate about bringing a sense of imagination and childhood wonder to her work, creating playful illustrations that she hopes will bring a smile to readers of all ages!
