Author Bio

Janine was born in Victoria and she loves experimenting in all forms of art, be it drawing, painting, pottery, ceramics, music as well as writing and has incorporated the beauty of these environments into many art forms.

She started writing poetry at the age of 16, converting them to songs. Not always able to articulate her own feelings with spoken word, she has always fallen back on using her poetry to express her own deep and sometimes troubled feelings.

Sometimes, on down days when my life is stripped bare.

All that I have are the words that I share
It isn’t your company but your silent support
As I live by my words and within my poetry, I resort
On good days I’m inspired to get paper and pen
My heart runneth over then there’s a poem again
When I’m full of pride of my kids I am so proud
I’m not one to be vocal but my words say it loud
If it’s a friend that is feeling all battered and blue
Heartfelt words spring to mind and the poems for you
So, if my poems can help you then I’ve done my part
They may help with your feelings, or mend your poor heart
Whatever they do, to help you somehow
I give you my words to use here and now.
