A chronological account of expeditions by the explorers who worked the Antarctic Peninsula during the historical period 1819 to 1937…

Following the adventures of 30 different expeditions, from nine countries plus Australia, The Exploration of the Antarctic Peninsula dives into the complex geography of great channels and unknown islands that have formed the incredible Peninsula since time began.

A landscape unlike any other, filled by wildlife and ecosystems so vastly different from any you’ve learned of before.

This deep dive into the Antarctic through the discoveries detailed in this collected work by the exceptionally thorough and talented Australian author, Hugh Allan, is one for the future generations to discover.

“Hugh has a great way of showing the true world in his books and this one is no exception. What thrilling adventures about a place rarely seen or understood…” Harold, Readalot reviewer
