ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR - RAF LUYCKX
Raf is a Belgian all-round illustrator and character designer with a passion for fantasy who lives with his wife and their three teenagers in the Flanders region of Belgium.
After doing Art School in St-Lucas Antwerp, Belgium he finished a classic 2D animation training and worked shortly as a concept artist for the games industry, but is currently working full time in a different field.
Nevertheless, Raf never lost his love for drawing and creating all kinds of illustrations.
In his free time, he spends time with the family, travelling to Austria and doing a lot of drawing and designing.
His connection with Australia is through his cousin author Kat Lux, who lives in the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales. Kat wrote her first book (A Blaze in the Bush) and was always thinking of making this a family project.
