Alvina Collinson is a retired Early Childhood Teacher, who is pretty sure that she has read thousands of books to hundreds of children throughout her teaching career, and still loves to read to her grandchildren!
Alvina spent an idyllic childhood growing up in a small fishing village [and consequently spent lots of time outside exploring]in New Zealand and moved to the Gold Coast at twenty one. She has lived in Brisbane, Sydney, and Perth with her husband and four children.
Alvina still loves to explore and reading is her favourite pastime.
She now works with her husband, helping him run their earthmoving business and of course writing!

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR: MICHELLE WEBB
Michelle is an artist/illustrator living on Mornington Peninsula. Combining her background in Fine Art with the latest in technology, she paints digital pieces that have a traditional feel to them… some so realistic that even her framers were surprised to feel no residue when handling her work.
Michelle is inspired by her own life experiences, music, mythology, culture, and nature in all its beauty, both light & dark. Her work ranges from stylised high fantasy to realistic portraiture, and she is at her happiest when combining fantasy with reality. While very new to this industry, Michelle is already marking her mark and was honoured to be titled as a Painter Master by Corel Software in 2018, joining a prestigious line up of the most talented artists in digital.
