Author Bio

With a big change in her personal life, Annie decided at the end of 2022 a sea change was in order and moved four hundred kilometres north of Perth to a beautiful country town. Here the beach is a prominent place in her life and the lives of her two dachshunds, Sosaj and Biskit with daily swims and strolls along the shore a given. The coffee shops along the foreshore are a haven for a writer who uses the water as her muse. Although Annie generally writes in the contemporary romance genre, with her Flower Quartet already published, she has recently dipped her toe into writing children’s books - one for each of her three grandchildren, which should be in print over the next two years. Then it’s a return to looking at love in a variety of different situations, mostly taking place in her beautiful home state of Western Australia. And, with a set of early readers based on the adventures of her beloved pups, Annie can’t see the possibility of retirement any time soon.

A Daisy in the Field

Daisy is living her dream, literally.

Her established garden centre, Daisy’s Dream, is very popular and she has a scholarship to study Horticulture through the university, and she has the love of a very special man, Kyle. They have been in love since they were childhood sweethearts.

So, what could possibly go wrong?

Kyle is seconded to the Army and required to spend six months overseas. However, he suffers an injury on patrol and while healing alone, he begins to re-evaluate what is important, including his relationship with Daisy.

As Daisy studies back home, she finds that a dashing professor is keen to help her further with her studies and is confused by her emotions and loyalties in her life.

Is love stronger than war for Daisy and Kyle? Or is this a fork in the road for these lovers to pursue their individual desires?

“I’ve fallen in love with this family and can’t wait for the other three books in the Flower Quartet.” Beth

“Love the romance and ‘those’ scenes… hot!  But it’s more than just that; there is a real story and my emotions were all over the place.  I loved it and wanted more.”  RC

“An emotional romance of love and dedications conflicted by the melody of hearts and minds in a mix of new adventures and old truths… A relatable and intelligent romance…” Jennifer, Indie Book reviewer
