Ted Stephens was raised in a family very aware of its family roots. His father was involved with writing the histories of Nhill and Horsham. His mother too, often told the stories handed down to her from her grandmother who was brought up in the Ballarat goldfields.
Ted has also been involved with the history of machinery and has spent the last 53 years establishing a large historic machinery display at the Geelong Show. The Ormonds of Borriyalloak is his second book, following his debut work The Langlands.
